Clarification of necessary setup steps for authorising Delta plug-ins for Duality and AWS consoles, having performed a console Delta software update. This guide is a supplement to the installation notes supplied in the Mac and Windows support files associated with the console software update.

PACE iLok2 Software Authorisation Key Delta Activation Code
Information: 1. Supplied as part of the new console or upgrade kit sale is a Delta Activation Code. This is a printed certificate that contains alpha-numeric characters in blocks of five e.g. XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX. Locate this code for use in later steps. 2. The console being installed/updated needs to be registered to an account on the SSL website. Users that have already done this can proceed to log in to MySSL using the same account details by visiting www.solidstatelogic.com and clicking on the ‘Log In’ button in the top-right of the web page. Users who have not yet created a MySSL account and/or have not registered the console are required to do so before proceeding further.

3. The registered console will appear in the ‘My Products’ section. Navigate to this page, then select the ‘Features’ tab:
4. The Console Features page shows the currently enabled options. To add the Delta functionality, enter your activation code in the appropriate box, then click the ‘Activate’ button.
5. Once the activation has been successful, a green indicator will appear at the top of the page, as shown below. There will also now be five iLok licenses listed underneath the ‘Activate’ button. These are the licenses for the Delta Control plug-ins, and need to be transferred to a relevant iLok2 account and iLok device.

6. If you do not already have the iLok License Manager software installed on your computer, visit https://www.ilok.com/ and download the relevant version. Once this is installed, and your system restarted, log in to the software and activate the license codes shown in your MySSL account in your iLok account as necessary. You may then follow on-screen instructions and choose the iLok2 device as a destination. The ‘Enter Activation Code’ window looks like this:
7. The support files used to update the console software also contain installation notes and installer files for the Delta Control plug-ins themselves. Refer to the guide and follow the Delta Control Setup Wizard to install plug-ins.
8. Ensure the iLok2 that you transferred licenses to is connected to your computer, restart your DAW software, and start using Delta plug-ins.
