For as long as she can remember, our hero has always been fascinated by the possible existence of the Yeti, a mysterious (and supposedly abominable) snow-dwelling creature. Finally, she can stand it no more and embarks on a journey to find out the truth about it. She is well prepared for this adventure of a lifetime and is eager to overcome any obstacle. She sets off from her hometown and travels by bicycle, by train and on foot. All the while she wonders about the enigmatic goal of her quest and what he may be like. Is he grouchy? Does he like to be alone? Should she address him as Yeti or Mr. Yeti? Will she finally get to meet him and ask him all her questions? Her journey unfolds without incident to the Himalayas… because since the beginning the Yeti has actually been travelling with her! He protected her, and helped her when she almost fell off the trail. He has been watching over her the whole time. Is he a protective spiritguide or a figment of our hero’s imagination?

One lazy summer day, young Alice is daydreaming when she sees a white rabbit hurrying as it passes by, arousing her curiosity. Alice follows the rabbit down its hole and arrives in Wonderland. During her strange journey there, she will rock a baby who turns into a pig, meet the Cheshire Cat, talk with a caterpillar smoking a hookah pipe, and of course play croquet with the terrible Queen of Hearts… ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Rights sold: Castilian (Spain), Catalan, Chinese (complex and simplified), Dutch, ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------English (UK and Commonwealth excluding Canada), Estonian, Greek, Italian, ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Ukrainian ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Classic tales • Imagination • initiation

20 X 23 CM - 32 PAGES - HARDCOVER - 10.50€

21 X 21 CM - 32 PAGES - HARDCOVER - 9.90€

✦✦Illustrations made with coloured pencils for a unique childish style ✦✦The classic tale of The Three Little Pigs revisited in a light-hearted humorous way and given an unexpected ending

✦✦A poetic and inspiring bedtime story ✦✦This album reminds parents that bedtime is not only about falling asleep: it is also about learning to dream… ✦✦This book invites multiple answers to its titular question. Each person can have his own. What will your answer be? ✦✦Illustrations drawn by an artist with a flowery, colorful, soft brush

In this story, the three little dragons are not being chased by a wolf but by a brave pig named Knight Raymond. To put an end to this chase they decide to each build a house: the first builds a straw hut, the second a wood cabin and the third a brick house. When Raymond besieges their houses, he huffs and he puffs and… he blows his horn! Far from destroying the houses with his breath, Raymond must wait in front of each as the dragon inside panics and flees, sometimes even burning the shelter down in the process… Finally, not wanting to set fire to the last house, they jump into the water to escape Raymond. And where have these little monsters gone? Raymond is still waiting for them, and as you should know by now, he is very patient… -----------------------------World rights available -----------------------------HUMOUR • IMAGINATION • DRAGONS

Snuggly tucked into bed, a young boy wonders, “where are dreams born?” An excellent question to which all of nature has an answer. From the wind tickling the boy’s face to the mountain rising towards the sky, the boy is brought on a journey and lulled to sleep alongside his cat. The seasons have their dreams, and the soft rays of sun in the pale morning light and the whispering sand dunes dream as well. Who is right and who is wrong? The school teacher with an answer for everything? The wise professor whose knowledge is legendary? Of course, the night has the last word. Dreams are born right here, at the edge of your bed… and the boy sighs one last time as he falls asleep. -----------------------------World rights available -----------------------------IMAGINATION • DREAMS • INITIATION

D’OÙ IL VIENT CE GROS CHAGRIN ? Where Did This Sadness Come From? Anne-Gaëlle Balpe • Cécile Vangout 20 X 23 CM - 32 PAGES - HARDCOVER - 10.50€

✦✦A compelling story to help children get beyond those times when they find themselves feeling sad One morning a little girl woke up to find sadness sitting on her bed, the biggest sadness that she’d ever seen! Why was it there? Was it because she had a little scrape on her knee? But it didn’t hurt anymore… Or was it because her teddy’s ear was coming off? No, because Mommy said that she’d fix it… Could it be because the cookie jar was empty? No, it couldn’t be that… Nothing seemed to explain why that enormous sadness was sitting there. Fed up with trying to figure out why the sadness was there, she decided to try and make it laugh: she made faces and dressed herself up… Until it started to get smaller and smaller so that it was hard to see! In the end, it was easy to make the sadness go away. -----------------------------World rights available -----------------------------SADNESS • GROWING-UP • IMAGINATION

Cécile Vangout is a 34-year-old self-taught graphic artist and illustrator. She has collaborated on a dozen projects illustrating books for children and workbooks. When she was young, Cécile wanted to become either a cartoonist, a translator, a hairdresser or a horse trainer… Now on the cusp of her third decade, she has taken up drawing again and realized being a dreamer and helping people dream is a pretty great career! Her delicate and dreamy illustrations in duotone and colour pencil drawings complement perfectly the text with humour, passion and tenderness.

Alice de Page is a 32-year-old Belgian creator. After graduating from the Saint-Luc Art School in her hometown of Brussels, she decided to devote her life to her passion: illustrating children’s books. This dream became a reality in 2009 with her first picture book, Ferréol. However, her imagination and talent extend beyond drawing to fabric and clay as well, which she uses to create characters to lead readers into her very authentic, poetic universe. http://www.mouchette.be

Lola is sure of it: witches have hooked noses and claw-like fingers. She is convinced that as soon as her parents close the door to her room for the night, a witch hidden under her bed will try to catch her by the feet! Lola is prepared though and switches on her flashlight as she listens to the sounds of the house… However, when a strange sound draws her out from under her blankets, the little silhouette looks nothing like a shrunken old woman. In fact, the little witch named Esther has pink cheeks, pretty black hair and feathers stuck in her hat. Those strange sounds were the little witch’s sobbing. So Lola asks why she is so sad. Esther answers that it is because the other children are afraid of her. Thanks to her open-mindedness, Lola gradually abandons her fears and prejudices as she plays with the young witch. A little girl tells the story of her special relationship with her father. His work is so strange and complicated that she doesn’t understand it… she only knows that they must often move houses. And each time, he always manages to find the most amazing house in the neighbourhood! A tree house, a house in the middle of the zoo, a firehouse, an airship… The hard part is getting all their square furniture in to their extravagant new rooms! Luckily her father is handy and likes to build wacky furniture designed for each of their homes: a castle-bed, a basket, a superhammock for the airship. And why not, one day, a bed out among the stars?

Did you know that Little Red Riding Hood does not in fact go alone to her grandmother’s house to bring her cake and a little pot of butter?! She goes in the company of Marcel, her fat, lazy, overeating cat who spends all of his time doing… nothing. Along the way they meet the wolf – meaning the one and only wolf of the forest… Little Red Riding Hood, far from being intimidated (after all, this wolf looks more hungry than scary), demonstrates that she is by no means tongue-tied: who does this wolf think he is?! But the wolf is smarter than he looks and has hatched a diabolical plan! He informs Little Red Riding Hood that the main road is under construction so that she will go another way. Intent on having a full meal, appetizers and all, the wolf uses the diversion to arrive at Grandmother’s house first; whereupon, he proceeds to take her place in the bed. He then settles in to wait for the little girl… After the long walk, Marcel is exhausted and has been looking forward to napping at Grandmother’s house. Disappointed to find no fire burning in the chimney, Marcel decides to slip under Grandmother’s blanket while Little Red Riding Hood is saying hello, but… where is that smell of wet dog coming from? And what is this dense black hair doing on Grandmother’s legs? It’s a good thing Marcel is there to unmask the impostor!

VALENTINE et GROS PÉPÈRE Valentine And Her Cushy Bear

In the Jungle We meet Valentine and Cushy Bear on a rainy day. Valentine and a friend of hers are trapped inside by the foul weather, and it’s clearly much less fun to set up a tent in the living room than in the garden. Fortunately, Cushy Bear gets up from his nap in time to rescue them from boredom. He shakes the tent and concentrates hard and… voila! they find themselves in the jungle! The two girls are enchanted and quickly begin exploring. But the jungle is not without danger, and soon a tiger is chasing them. Help! Luckily for them, Cushy Bear is not far off. The bear magician has no difficulty defeating the beast and getting everyone home safely. In a faraway kingdom, a king lives happily with his wife and daughter. His kingdom prospers thanks to a marvellous donkey which every day produces gold coins. One day, the queen falls very gravely ill, and as she lies dying she makes the King promise that he will only remarry a woman more beautiful than she. But soon, the King considers marrying his own daughter, whose beauty equals that of her mother. The princess is horrified by her father’s intention and asks her fairy godmother for help. She advises the princess to ask the King for impossible gifts as conditions for her hand such as dresses the colour of the changing sky, of the moon and of the sun. Alas, her father acquiesces to all her demands including her final and most terrible one: that she be given the skin of the magical donkey. In desperation, the princess finally flees with nothing but her marvellous dresses hidden under the donkey skin. She becomes a shepherdess in the neighbouring kingdom, where everyone mocks her. Only the prince seems to see her for whom she really is… What will become of the one everyone calls Donkey Skin? -----------------------------World rights available -----------------------------Classic tales • Love • Magic

Antoine GUILLOPPé LE GARDIEN DES OCÉANS The Guardian of the Oceans

King Kong Antoine Guilloppé 27.5 x 32 CM - 40 pages - Hardcover with dust jacket and laser-cuts pages , offset paper - 20.95€

Michaël Escoffier • Antoine Guilloppé

✦✦A magnificent homage to the 1933 film whose main character still excites the imagination of fantasy fans today ✦✦A reflexion on love and humanity in shades of black and white illustrating two themes dear to the author: nature and New York City

26 X 21.5 CM - 32 pages - Hardcover, offset paper - 11.90€

✦✦The story is told from the perspective of a shark ✦✦A moving tale in which the most feared of marine predators explores the ocean depths and is transformed into a benevolent guardian ✦✦Black and white contrasts accentuate the wild waters, coral reefs, marine fauna, sea foam and lighthouse beacon

When a film crew travels to a strange island to shoot a film, a local tribe captures Ann, the lead actress, and offers her to Kong, a horrifying giant gorilla. The cast and crew set off in search of her, but the island’s hostile environment is filled with obstacles, and many do not survive. Luckily, Kong is finally overcome and Ann freed. However, the ambitious director Carl Denham uses this opportunity to capture Kong and transport him back to New York City where he is exhibited in a theatre as a circus attraction. Maddened by the wild camera flashes, Kong breaks free, kidnaps Ann and flees with her to the top of the Empire State Building; but does he intend to harm her or is he trying to protect her?

The sea and ocean can be murky places as mariners well know. Nonetheless, down deep, where even the light does not shine, two eyes peer out watching for those whom the sea sometimes swallows. A boat struggles storm-tossed on the surface, and word spreads under the waves of a shape dragged under by the current: a man has fallen overboard! Luckily, the guardian of the oceans rises up to save him and deposits him on the sand, back among the living. The shark returns to the inky depths of the ocean, but from then on their two destinies will forever be linked.

Furious that he could not marry Princess Pirlipat, the king locked her up in a dungeon, where she would have to stay for eternity, unless someone managed to crack a nut that he owned. All those who tried broke their teeth on the nut, but one day a small soldier with a big heart succeeded. The princess was released but the soldier was transformed by the angry king into a nutcracker. Only genuine sadness over his fate could free him from the spell.’ Marie falls asleep, but in the middle of the night she’s woken up by a strange noise...

4 titles - 17 X 17 CM - 32 PAGES - HARDCOVER - 5€

✦✦A hero and his blanky overcome situations in every child’s daily life ✦✦Perfect for nurturing self-confidence and helping a child grow! ✦✦The text is written in the first person for children to identify more readily with the hero ✦✦Joyous illustrations create a familiar, comforting atmosphere To overcome all the small challenges, Ben has a super trick: he transforms into SuperBen! This ritual helps him rise above his fears and preconceived notions and helps him grow by bringing out the best in him. Ben, with whom all children will be able to identify, lives each day as an adventure and transforms his day-to-day problems into superhero missions. He can always count on his parents for help, but especially on SuperLoulou, his blanky, and his magic spells.

1. BEN, SUPERHERO IN THE DARK In bed at night, Ben is often afraid of the dark and of the monsters hiding in it. Even after his father explains that monsters don’t exist, Ben can still hear them growling in his room. Wanting proof, he musters all of his courage and embarks on his mission: to investigate every odd noise. Soon he begins to realize that hiding behind each strange sound is a not so strange explanation…

Before going to bed, he studies them all carefully, impatient to try them in the morning. But the next day it’s a catastrophe, his glass of water refuses to transform into a glass of milk. What if being polite were the magic phrase?

4. BEN, SUPERHERO WITH A BIG HEART One morning, on his way to school Ben finds a figurine of a knight. He picks it up and takes good care of it. Now it belongs to him. “Does it really though?” his mother asks. The toy certainly already belonged to someone.
