CEREPLASTM L810TM CAS No. 90218-76-1 EC No. 290-754-9 Chemical name: Linear C8/10 Trimellitate REACH Registration Number : 01-2119486801-33-XXXX The CEREPLASTM trimellitate range of speciality plasticisers consists of a number of grades produced by the controlled esterification of various alcohols with trimellitic anhydride. These esters are used in a wide range of PVC and rubber applications. CEREPLASTM L810TM is a trimellitate ester of linear 8/10 alcohol, it is a pale yellow and almost odourless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water. The low volatility, resistance to high temperatures, excellent low temperature performance in conjunction with good electrical properties makes CEREPLASTM L810TM especially useful for PVC cable applications. The low “fogging” values and permanence makes it ideally suited in formulating components for automotive internal trim. Within the CEREPLASTM esters range, CEREPLASTM L810TM offers the best low temperature performance, lowest volatility and the highest permanence levels for flexible PVC applications.
