• Yes you just have to enter the padlock ID number on the app. There isn't a limitation regarding the number of padlocks
Can a user have a multiple padlocks logged on the same app? If so, what is the maximum number of padlocks?
• If you were a guest to my lock and your phone was stolen, the person stealing the phone can theoretically turn off the wireless functionality and the phone will no longer receive updates. Removing them from the user list will not be effective. But, removing them and then updating the keys ensures the stolen phone does not get updated keys.
• Guest who have a wireless connection will automatically have the keys in their phone app updated. If a guest loses their phone, you would remove that guest from the user list, use the “reset key” function to update the encrypted key codes, and then resend an invitation to that specific guest so they regain access. Again, all of the other guests will automatically have updated keys when they have a wireless connection. The “reset key” function is a good practice here.
• Yes, If the owner of the lock loses his phone, he will need to disable the phone and / or cancel the wireless service o that phone. The owner should go to the online version of the Vault and change his password, he would purchase a new smartphone and download the app. When he logs into the app, it will sync with the data in the Vault. Next, the owner should visit each of his locks and use the “Reset Keys” function that changes the encrypted keys that are transmitted via the Bluetooth signal from the phone to the lock.
