To promote an IVVQ Process in order to improve quality and to reduce risks, costs and lead time by:
• Thinking about adapting an IVVQ process to projects and setting it up
• Sharing experience (good practices and pitfalls)
• Producing memory joggers and checklists
• Generating recommendations to place IVVQ activities within the System Engineering (SE) Process and to involve concerned stakeholders from the beginning of the project • Contributing to make IVVQ « Good Practices » acknowledged by national and international authorities.
• Defining good practices.
Integration: progressive system building from its components System Verification: Confirmation that specified requirements are satisfied. System Validation: Confirmation that stated needs are satisfied in an operational environment. System Qualification: Ascertainment by the acquirer that the real need has been fullfilled, enabling full scale production.
