SPORTS INFORMATION Basketball Three of the CDL/Versoix Basketball teams have managed to make it to the ¼ finals of the Swiss Championships. The U14, U16 and U19 teams will be playing two games (away and home) to try and get a ticket to the Final Fours. Their first game is away but the second one will be held at CDL in the Panther Den (Olympus). Come and cheer on these boys who have worked so hard to get where they are. The U19’s play on Friday 22 April at 8pm, the U16’s on Saturday 23 April at 11am and the U14’s on Saturday as well at 1pm. They will need the cheers help them beat their opponents. A concession stand will be running so… make this a fun event and come and cheer with your friends! Basketball – Student vs CDL Community Challenge The Varsity Boys basketball team will try to beat the CDL community on Wednesday 27 April. Come and cheer! It’s bound to be a great game! SPORTS RESULTS - Soccer LLSL Varsity Championships The Varsity Girls take home the LLSL Cup after a 1-0 win of the International School of Lausanne! The lady anthers close the Spring soccer season in style! Good job ladies. LLSL JV girls Tournament Our young lady Panthers played a great tournament at Lausanne this weekend. A second place and a fourth place and most importantly, loads of fun! Go Panthers! Tournoi Scolaire Qualifying Round 6 teams from grade 4 to 6 participated in the Tournoi Scolaire last Tuesday. 5 went through the final round that will be held on Wednesday, May 11th. Very well done young Panthers! Music Auditions for G8/4ème Graduation Students who are interested in auditioning for the Grade8/4ème graduation (music item) should come to CR015 during special period on Friday 22nd April, to discuss the audition process with the music teachers. This can be a solo or ensemble performance.

SOA African Afternoon This year, Grade 6 students are also invited to participate together with Grade 5 students in the ‘SOA African Afternoon’. This will take place after school from 4pm to 6pm on Friday 29th April. There will be mask-making and games led by the High School SOA students.

Thursday – 21.04.16 – jeudi The theme is ‘Using Education to reduce Poverty’ and interested participants will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children affected by poverty in rural Africa. Students who wish to participate will be expected to raise some funds through sponsorship (just like for the 'SOA Lock-in'). These funds will be used to provide further education opportunities for the 11 children from the orphanage who will have to leave it at the end of this year since they are now aged 16. Anyone wishing to participate must collect a Permission Form from their Homeroom Advisors and get this signed by their parents and returned to the Homeroom Advisors before Friday 22nd April.

CEM Standardised Testing for Grade 8 Students Students will need to move quickly to ML111 for all these tests, and please bring a pen/pencil/calculator with you so that you can do any rough working that may be required. Bake sale organisée en faveur de CAMBODIA CARE CENTRE Dates : mardi 26 avril Cambodia Care Centre est une association cambodgienne créée en 2011 qui a ouvert une école dans un bidonville à Phnom Penh et qui offre une éducation, une lueur d'espoir et un avenir meilleur pour les enfants les plus démunis.
