Flysafe is an integrated EU’s 6th framework research program aiming at developing new security systems (ground and on board) for aviation in order to increase flight safety , 6 Meteo France departments involved • collaboration with European national weather services, aeronautical industries, air lines, air navigation service providers • research subjects : nowcasting of meteorological hazards for aviation: in flight icing, clear air turbulence - nowcasting systems - real time meteorological data server • coordination of two flight test campaigns (2 research aircrafts - 140 flight hours)
