Présentation des nouvelles technologies Radar multifréquences/multipolarités et leurs applications pour la recherche minière (exemple du Sudan) et la recherche de l'eau (exemples du Darfour, du Kenya et de l'Ethiopie). Alain Gachet is the President and founder of Radar Technologies International (RTI SAS). Alain is a registered mining engineer and an international expert in using RADAR technology for natural resources exploration. After 20 years at Elf Aquitaine, Alain Gachet developed satellites RADAR technologies to help public agencies, NGO, private companies etc. to identify issues and available resources. Consulting for Total, Shell, UNESCO, USAID, USGS, UNHCR, Alain and his WATEX expert system have been instrumental at detecting leaks, finding and managing fresh water resources and identifying new agricultural lands in stressed areas. Alain Gachet is heavily involved in using satellite information to provide relief to distressed populations.
